Cheesecloth for Flammability Testing
Our cheesecloth is specifically produced for use in flammability testing, as required by both international and U.S. safety standards. It’s commonly used to assess ignition potential and is referenced in numerous regulatory guidelines.
We supply model FC10 cheesecloth, made from bleached cotton. The width of our cheesecloth is 1.0 meter (approximately 1 yard), and each order includes 18.2 meters (20 yards) of material. Custom lengths may be available upon request.
To meet the requirements of more than 20 different standards, we offer cheesecloth in a range of weights—from 32.0 g/m² to 51.0 g/m². Thread counts vary depending on the application, typically ranging from 28 x 32 threads per square inch to 41 x 29.
We provide a variety of widths, lengths, thread counts, and weights to support different testing applications. Availability may vary depending on what’s in stock from our manufacturer. While we aren’t able to custom weave or order cheesecloth to exact specifications, we’ll do our best to match your requirements with the options we have available.
