The Tohnichi Torque Screw Drivers are designed to test the screw bonds in electrical appliances as called out in IEC 60335, 60598, 60065 and other industry standards.

A specified maximum torque is applied on the screw bond to ensure that the bond will not be damaged under stress. The Torque Screw Driver is set to a definitive torque value. When the operator used the TSD, it reaches the set value. It can not exceed this value because of a "snap over" mechanism.

The Torque Screw Drivers can be calibrated easily with a calibration screw at the top of the handle.
