Glow Wire Tester -- Model 4150
The Friborg Glow Wire Tester is designed to test the flammability of electrical appliances. The exact temperature at which material burns can be determined. This electrically heated Glow Wire is pressed against the test sample with a defined temperature and force. The Model 4100 replaces the traditional Bunsen burner test.
SPECIFICATIONS:
Determining the flammability point is very important in product safety testing. The Friborg Glow Wire Tester is manufactured according to the latest, revised standards, minimizing measuring errors, improving procedures and simplifying operations.
- Electrically heated by a current transformer (ca. 150 A) to a predetermined temperature from 0 - 960ºC
- Temperature is measured by a Type K thermocouple and is indicated on a digital display
- A movable, low friction carriage creates a force against the sample
- Penetration depth and flame height is measured on a linear scale
- Tabletop unit. Most parts are stainless steel
- Reference IEC60695-2-1
- Available in 110 or 230V
