Jointed Finger Probe for Telecordia Standards
JFP1089
This probe is now required by GR-1089-CORE instead of the plastic probe. The JFP1089 is made of DelrinŽ and stainless steel. It differs from the IEC standard probe because the jointed finger is 10mm longer and there is no simulated palm. The front section is removable for additional tests. The rest of the dimensions are in accordance with IEC standards. A special disk for the metal finger is also required by GR-1089. Both the disk and the finger are certified to meet the GR-1089 requirements.
